Responsibilities:
- Analyze automotive mechanical parts and interfaces to determine mechanical design requirements;
- Devise a method to track inbound and purchase part rejects, and complete quality control reports, indicating the root cause of various process problems;
- Maintain customer and supplier interface to quality related items in APQP and PPAP submittal in accordance with the specific automotive industry requirements;
- Coordinate Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plans, and Inspection/Job Instructions & Inspection logs;
- And ensure feasible schedules for both design and pre-production by controlling PIC’s to ensure on time part for both prototype and production releases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
