Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze engineering design for road noise, chassis systems and acoustic materials, using mathematical and scientific analysis;
- Predict and measure the outcome of the computer-aided design and drafting with R&D project milestones and deadlines;
- Generate technical solutions for chassis components application engineering;
- Develop, refine, and finalize criteria and typical sections using math data for SOR for chassis;
- Develop finite element model of different automotive components using Hypermesh and Abaqus;
- Evaluate impact of chassis components, such as rotor and knuckle on frequency response of the brake system;
- Implement changes in design based on porosity simulation and corrosion testing for chassis;
- And conduct technical review with customers after completion of SOR Review, creating engineering design proposal (Drawings and BOM) based on testing, simulation and costing.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience.
